***This does not include any notes given last night***
Hero /Bea - Take places in before lights up
Shalom - Can the earmuffs be up on your hat?
Bea - Pay more attention to the Leo/Messenger conversation
Decide to stir the pot a little about Benedick
Firmly close your book (make it pop?)
Leo - VOLUME
Bea - Find a place to wear the messenger’s cap (or try to)
SOLDIERS - Marching on entry works
Ben & Bea - fight was low energy / going through the motions.

Leo / Antonio - VOLUME
Antonio- be excited about the news you are sharing
Leo - diction
Bora - maybe no hand to cover mouth on ‘smoking’
Bora/Conrad - Great job directing traffic for D.Gianna
Bea - good ‘get you to heaven’ voice
Bea - wooing..repenting (with Hero down stage center) look up to heaven on ‘repenting’
Bora - hold the ‘Travolta a bit longer after the dance
Antonio - It is okay to hold your mask over your face. Scene needs you to be hiding your identity
CROWD - Dance with each other during the mini-scenes (NOT out to audience)
Bora - hit MARRY her (to Claudio)
Ben - “prince hath GOT your Hero”
“...she TOLD me…”
Hero - react to Ben’s anti-Beatrice rant.
DP - it’s okay to leave Hero’s mask off stage
Bea - ‘Cousins, God give you joy’ didn’t we change your exit to Up stage?
Bora - slightly less drunk/compromised during dumb show. It will be hard enough for the audience to track.
Ben/DP/Claud/Leo - Great reactions to Balthazar’s song.
Ben - Cleaner ‘pop’ up on first entrance after the song (from behind stairs)
Crisper when moving/with plant. Lift/move/set. Being specific will keep it clean and funny
Leo - watch diction when laughing
Ben - work out a signal with Baxter to bring you back if out there too long
Bea - don’t go up in register ‘bid you come to dinner’. Go down. Be more disdainful
Hero/Urs/Marg - VOLUME
Bea - take longer on center cross around platform with the hat.
Can you ‘bounce’ more when sneaking with the hat. The up/down is a funny visual
‘What fire is in mine ears’ you are NOT mad. Don’t throw the props in anger. DISBELIEF/Stunned
Keep the skip up the aisle
Ben - enter farther on ‘loves me/loves me not’
Don P - hit ‘I will DISGRACE her’
Dog - Good with looking like you will hit Salem and transitioning into ‘knighting’ him
Sunny - ‘Watch offends no man’, shake head. Better visual with lantern light
Bora - good with ‘duckets’
Bora/Conrad - good scene before the arrest
Watch - be acknowledging Bora’s story with each other and be taking notes during it
INTERMISSION
Marg - more ‘common sense’ mentality when talking to hero about men/marriage
Bea - sit on the end of the platform stairs?
Marg / Urs - help hero strike props (hat box and whatnot)
Dog - don’t pick flower when Leo is on stage Do it immediately or bring it on with you
Bea - Music should cue your entrance for wedding
Bea/Hero/Leo - Slow down for the wedding march. Slow WAY down. It’s not a race, its a parade
Leo - let music begin to fade out before talking to Friar
Ant/Urs/Bea - more calming/soothing/care/concern for Hero. She’s having a bad day
Bea - too shrill after ‘how fares the lady?’ could not understand (might have been a diction issue)
Leo - nice with ‘mine’ monologue
Watch out for shrieking
Antonio - Help Hero and Bea up off of the ground
Bea - Don’t go into full crying. Soft sobbing should work. It is too abrupt
slow speaking pace when you are down on platform
Better with Kill Claudio (nice work)
Ben - not afraid to ‘kill Claudio’. Disappointed/regret she asked
It is the one thing you won’t do
Sexton - No smiling. Be the boring parent
Dog - try dragging the umbrella off stage at the end of the scene (sad they did not write down you are an ass)
Leo / Ant - VOLUME
Antonio - you need to be reacting to the conversation between Leo & claudio
- fight was much better. Keep tightening it up. The more specific you are, the funnier it will be
Ben - bigger beat change between challenging Claudio on the stairs and ‘you have killed an innocent…’
Be ominous without yelling
Bora - Volume on admission to Don P. & Claudio
Pick up the pace a little during admission story
Leo - ‘Which of these is he…’ LOOK AT BORA AND CONRAD!!!
Leo/Claud/Don P - VOLUME dropped out during Claudio’s kneeling contrition
Leo - money prop?
Don P - good exiting with Claud
Marg - VOLUME
